HIPS through FUE and UMA co-sponsors onsite peer education trainings  in the area of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB), Malaria, Reproductive Health and Family Planning (RH/FP). This is done with company staff, community focal persons and any other available workplace support staff. HIPS/FUE and UMA  provides Training of Trainers programs for the company training managers.

Together with companies, HIPS through FUE and UMA co-sponsors health fair days, which entail employee and community members’ participation in entertainment and education activities centered on health. These include disseminating information on HIV/AIDS preventive and palliative care, Tuberculosis (TB), Malaria, Reproductive Health and Family Planning (RH/FP).Free VCT services are carried out as well as distribution of health commodities like condoms, mosquito nets and water purification tablets.

HIPS provides linkages, necessary trainings and technical assistance to companies, company and private clinics to enable them access the free Ministry of Health provided ARV’S and TB drugs. HIPS also supports Intermittent Presumptive Treatment for Malaria in pregnant mothers and children under five years.

HIPS sponsors trainings for company clinical staff and private health practitioners to build their capacity in providing quality AIDS treatment and VCT services. Trainings vary from administering ARVS in Resource Limited settings, providing palliative care, Voluntary Counselling & Testing skills, TB diagnosis and treatment, Pediatrics HIV/AIDS training, to ART logistics and Inventory Management trainings.
